About Me

My name is McKenzie Tooke! I am a graduate of Georgia State University, through which I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. I just received my Master of Science in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University in May 2022 (Yay!). I am originally from Columbus, Georgia and have been in the city of Atlanta for about five years. I am a poetry enthusiast, aspiring baker, and lover of music! I started teaching because I love to learn and inspiring children to love to learn too! I am still relatively new to the teaching world, so I will be learning alongside all of you! I'm so excited to see your beautiful, smiling faces and I look forward to a school year filled with fun and growth!
